Jill Manno Moschella is a third-generation construction entrepreneur. Her Grandfather Manno owned a steel fabrication business and construction business that employed over 300 people. Her Father had a large excavation business that specialized in ecological projects, such as abandoned coal mine reclamation to eliminate toxic runoff into watersheds, and natural disaster clean-up/flood repair for state and federal governments.
Jill obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University in 1995, and her first job after graduation was as a laborer on Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center arena. She subsequently worked as a field secretary and material manager for a multi-family builder based in Tennessee, who moved her from Pennsylvania to the Southeast, altering her life path.
Atlanta was booming in 1997, and Jill saw the opportunity to begin her career as a construction entrepreneur by opening a multi-family painting company. For the first several years, she traveled and worked with her crews. She learned to estimate, to read blueprints, and qualified for state licenses by taking trade and business exams. By 2007, she had successfully completed multi-family projects in 17 states.
Jill also had a small, multi-family roofing company, Vidmar Roofing, which opened in 2002 and closed in 2012, an unfortunate victim of the Great Recession.
Jill is an Italian citizen through her Great-Grandfather Manno, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution through his American wife. She lives in Tampa with her Husband.
